Just like those amphitheaters that take on the name of the highest bidder, judging by the parties, Art Basel Miami Beach is thisclose to becoming the Summer's Eve Art Basel Miami Beach. But before Preparation H outbids the feminine hygiene brand, without further ado, for the love of art (not), the following is your exhaustive, constantly updated, name droppy guide to Art Basel parties and events (and a few completely unrelated) to which you can, and most likely cannot, get in. Oh, and while last year's big rumor was that Lady Gaga was expected to show up at Art Basel (she didn't), this year, we are eagerly anticipating the hopeful arrival of Brangelina--Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who may or may not show up at some of the Art Basel events at the quietly opened, hyper swanky Faena Miami Beach, for which Pitt, also a furniture designer, has also designed a communal table in the wine room. Jolie, however, is the president of the honorary committee of the Cambodian International Film Festival which runs from December 4-10. Cambodia, Miami. Hmm. Stay tuned.
