NFL WEEK 9 RESULTS: HERALD PICKS X GREG'S LOBOS X QB RANKINGS:
Herald Picks: The rally continues! -- We niftied a very solid 10-3 mark overall last week and an even 5-5-3 against the spread -- with wins by the Chargers, Vikings and Bucs all pushing on 3-point lines for the ties. Nailed two outright upsets with Jaguars beating Raiders and Seahawks beating Cardinals. Had a push with Washington on our Upset of the Week, and had Titans with the points to cover at Kansas City. Tough season, but let's keep the rally going!
Greg's Lobos: Due a slip, and slip we did -- The defending PFPI Fantasy champion Lobos had won two straight but fell last week 133-109 to rival/son Chris. Got 25 From Tua but needed a Monday night miracle from Lamar Jackson that never happened. We're 5-4 and and still playoff-solid in our 10-team family 'n friends fantasy league with five weeks left in the regular season.
NFL QB Rankings: Mahomes wins week, Tua blasts back into Top 10 -- Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes wins Week 9 and is poised to regain the overall No.1 spot this coming week, while Miami's Tua Tagovailao soars to the No. 9 spot despite missing most of three games injured. For the full Top 25 and more in the Miami Herald Quarterback Rankings, visit NFL Week 9 QB Rankings.
