PicksNFL WEEK 7 PICKS: DOLPHINS-FALCONS, UPSETS AND ALL THE REST: We turn to NFL Week 7 and our picks for Dolphins-Falcons, our Game of the Week and Upset of the Week along with two additional upsets and all the rest. Got off to a mixed start Thursday night. Won the pick outright but pushed (tied) against the spread with Cleveland's 17-14 win last night. For all of our latest picks: NFL Week 7 Gems.

Heat score huge Opening Night win. My column: Miami opened its 34th NBA season at home last night with am improbably easy 137-95 rout of champion Milwaukee. My column from the arena: State of the Art: Heat, Miami's Best-Run Franchise, Sails in Season Opener

Dolphins, Canes, Cats. NFL WEEK 6 RESULTS:

(*) OUR PICKS: REALLY BAD X TWO: There is no putting any sort of a happy face on my Week 6 performance. I went 7-7 straight up and 5-9 against the spread. Highlights: Had a rare perfect-score Exacto on Steelers' 23-20 win over Seattle, correcty had Eagles with points vs. Tampa, and had the right idea on our Upset of the Week pick but missed narrowly in OT on Pats-Cowboys.

(*) GREG'S LOBOS: 4-GAME WIN STREAK ENDS: Lobos fell 138-92 to nephew Joe to end a four-game win streak and leave us 4-2 and tied for second in PFPI Fantasy, our 10-team friends 'n family league. Aaron Jones led us with 20 points but too many underperformers incluing Lamar Jackson (11) and Mike Evans (4).

(*) HERALD NFL QB RANKINGS: COUSINS, BRADY, TUA TOP THE WEEK: Vikes' Kirk Cousins wins the week, Bucs' Tom Brady holds onto the season lead and Fins' Tua Tagovailoa retrusn with a big game to rise three spots in the Herald's updated rankings. Detaills and latest Top 20: NFL Week 6 QB Rankings.
