PicksDOLPHINS-GIANTS, GAME OF WEEK, BIG UPSETS AND ALL OF OUR NFL WEEK 15 PICKS: Off our record-setting 2018 season we've had a solid 29th year of NFL picks thus far in the Miami Herald. Last week we were 10-6 overall but a season-worst 5-9-2 against the spread (with wins by Vikings and Bucs pushing for the ties). Had underdog Dolphins and Giants covering and nice pick with Rams over Seahawks, but not enough else went right. Now we bounce back, and we're off to a good start! Had Ravens covering 15 1/2 over Jets last night -- and they did. LalHEAT LOSE TO LEBRON, LAKERS, BUT STILL COME UP BIG: LeBron and A.D. combined for 61 Friday night as Lakers beat Heat in Miami, 113-110. Original post: You really want respect as an unexpected NBA power, Miami? Go get it tonight. The Los Angeles Lakers are in town. They bring a West-leading 22-3 record. They bring a 12-1 road record. They bring LeBron James and Anthony Davis (pictured). They bring a chance for Miami to measure itself for real. The Heat are good -- second in the East at 18-6 including a perfect 11-0 at home. But here comes the test, with Lakers favored by 5 points. Will Heat demand the league's attention and respect with a huge win? Will they get blown out? Let's find out.
