Latest column: On Dolphins coach-search, and what's an even bigger need: Miami is trying to find a new coach (with Patriots' Brian Flores the supposed favorite) who may or may not be better than Adam Gase, now the Jets' coach. But a bigger, more important decision looms after that. For my newest column, visit A Better Coach Isn't Dolphins' Biggest Need. Divrd PicksNFL PLAYOFF PICKS / DIVISIONAL-ROUND: DOWN TO FINAL EIGHT, AND THE 4 SURVIVORS ARE..: Now it begins for real. At least that's the way I see it. The Super Bowl Tournament started with a dozen teams but has weeded out the four pretenders, and now we're down to the Great Eight (or lucky more than great in the case of Philadelphia, at least). We're here off a magical, record-setting regular season with our NFL picks (.705 winning percentage straight-up, .582 against the spread), but we were reminded last week the postseason is a greater challenge. No chaff; all wheat. Wild-Card Weekend saw us 2-2 both overall and vs. the betting line, highlighted by our upset call on Chargers winning in Baltimore. Now the No. 1 and 2 seeds are in play after byes last week so, again, now it begins for real. Our four Divisional-Round picks include a stunning upset loss by a No. 1 seed. (But which one?)
