LATEST COLUMN: FOR NOW, AT LEAST, CANES FOOTBALL OWNS THIS TOWN: I write in my latest column that Miami Hurricanes football is poised to own this town
in a way it did not even during its run of five championships in that 19-year span from 1983-2001. That's because the Dolphins were interesting and competitive at that time. It was the Dan Marino era, a time in which the Fins had only one losing season in those 19 years. Now, the rising Canes (safety Sheldrick Redwine is pictured) are really good at a time when the Dolphins are deep-stuck in mediocrity, and when the Heat are downsized and nobody's idea of a title contender. I explore all of this and more in that new column. To read it, click Dolphins? Heat? Nope. UM Football Owns This Town. But that's my opinion. I want yours. Take a dip in our poll. Vote now!
