JUDGING DEREK JETER SO FAR: It took him 10 weeks. Actually a little less. The press conference to introduce Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter as the new owners-out-front of the Miami Marlins happened Oct. 3. Now, in mid-December, the Jeter group already has traded Giancarlo Stanton, Marcell Ozuna and Dee Gordon in a salary dump, enraging many fans. We've had some of our say in a couple of columns linked-to here and also in this blog. Now it's your turn. Two months into an ownership is too soon to judge it, admittedly. But in this case, some fans already are missing Jeffrey Loria (which they'd never thought possible), while others may agree with the tear-down and reboot.
