How Rook 1 and Rook 2 came to be

Credit Dwyane Wade with the nicknames of Rook 1 (Justise Winslow) and Rook 2 (Josh Richardson).

Richardson said Wade gave them the nicknames during a preseason game in Atlanta back in October.

"I remember he called over to Justise before the game and was like 'Hey Rook 1, come over here," Richardson said. 

"Then after the game, Dwyane was like 'Hey Rook 2, get me a bottled water. I was like 'Guess that's me.' "

Richardson and Winslow now call each other Rook 1 and Rook 2.
