Heat rolls in playoffs opener

Some notes and thoughts from the Heat's 110-87 victory against the Bucks in Game 1 of the first-round of the 2013 playoffs...

—The Heat's postseason newcomers had huge impacts. Ray Allen had 20 points off the bench and Chris Andersen, who kind of stole the show on Sunday, had 10 points and seven rebounds in a little more than 16 minutes. In all, the Heat scored 43 points off the bench, which was the second highest total in a postseason game in franchise history. The Heat's bench scored 45 points at Detroit on April 29, 2000, a Game 3 series clincher.

—Allen had two three-pointers and now has 315 career three-pointers. He is five three-pointers away from tying Reggie Miller for the most three-pointers in postsesason NBA history. We'll take a closer look at that on Monday after practice.

—LeBron was 9 of 11 (.818) from the field, including 1 of 2 from three-point range and 8 of 11 from the foul line, for 27 points. The efficient effort marked the first time James has shot at least 80 percent in a postseason game. LeBron is the seventh player for the Heat to shoot at least 80 percent (minimum 10 field-goal attempts).

—LeBron now has 49 career postseason double-doubles, including 20 with the Heat (in just 45 games), which is a franchise record.

—With his 27 points on Sunday, LeBron is 19 points shy of tying Dirk Nowitzki for 15th place on the NBA all-time postseason scoring list. LeBron has 3,302 postseason points for his career.

—Chris Bosh tied a career high with three three-pointers.

—In a sea of white, Pat Riley wore a dark-colored suit. Come on, Riles, break out the white suit!

—Had to love everyone in the crowd flapping their Birdman wings after that dunk. Even LeBron flapped his arms after one of Andersen's dunks.

—Speaking of Birdman, his Mo-Hawk was glorious for his postseason debut with the Heat.

—Udonis Haslem got the starting nod and had two points and five rebounds in 16 1/2 minutes. Shane Battier played 24:21 off the bench and was 1 of 8 from the field (1 of 7 from behind the arc) for five points.

—Um, what was LeBron wearing after the game?
