Dwyane Wade out against Pistons (but not because he needs rest, wink-wink)

Remember that missed dunk by Heat guard Dwyane Wade on Friday against the Grizzlies? Well, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade tweaked his ankle on the play, forcing him to be scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Pistons.

Wade was ruled out of Sunday's game at about 4:05 p.m. The Heat plays the Pistons at 6 p.m. Wade has missed two of his last four games due to injury. He did not play against Sixers on Tuesday after bruising his knee.

Spoelstra said Wade is day-to-day and didn't rule him out for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.

Wade has complained about fatigue in recent days due to the strain of the condensed season. "Everyone's feeling it," Wade said recently. Officially, Spoelstra has called resting his stars before the All-Star break a "ridiculous" and "absurd" "storyline."
