Wade defuses trade rumor, etc.

Since we're in an era of responding to rumors and erroneous reports, we might as well address the news or should we call it the non-news of the day: Dwyane Wade acknowledged that he doesn't think he will be traded.

Wade In case you didn't hear it about the last few days, Wade told the Chicago Tribune earlier this week: "I have heard my name being talked about, and I can't worry about it. There is one thing in this league that you have no control over. If another organization wants you, then you should feel good to be wanted."

The report talked about a possible trade to Chicago and the thing is that the Heat is not trying to trade Wade for the top overall pick in the draft.

Then it continued to be the story that wouldn't go away. ESPN.com posted a story Thursday with possible Bulls-Heat trades involving Wade. Perhaps Wade's statement that the trade rumors are inaccurate and that the Heat assured him likewise will end the conversations linking him to various deals.

Now that we're done discussing outlandish Wade trades, what deals do you think could actually happen involving the Heat draft night or this summer?

(On another note, the response to the latest poll about Marion and Beasley has been great. There have been 382 votes as of this writing, with people weighing in from all over the world (i.e. Australia, Thailand, China, Russia, Germany, Venezuela, Iraq, South Korea, France, Morocco, Colombia. If you haven't voted yet please do so and we'll reveal the results in an upcoming post.)
