(Thanks to Steve K, who says "It was in the unclaimed luggage at O'Hare Airport.")

Oh Dear, what can the matter be?

Also proving that scientists are a lot like geezers who just can't remember where I left those darned reading glasses.

So, it's not in Uranus?

What's-a matter you? Hey! Gotta no respect?
What-a you t'ink you do, why you look-a so sad?
It's-a not so bad, it's-a nice-a place
Ah shaddap-a you face!
~ Joe Dolce

Whoa - 'shaddap you face' was a blast from the past! Thanks for bringing that up, had totally forgotten that one.

Have the same problem - forgetting where I put something. My wife is very understanding as she reminds me that the universe is expanding all the time. So it is likely that no matter where I put something it is likely somewhere else because, as she said, the universe is expanding.

Surprise! It was hiding behind the front seats all along!

It's not with the missing dryer socks?

The good news is, I'm not getting fatter; the universe is expanding & using my body to fill the empty space.
