What do you mean, near tragedy?
They all survived.
Surely the Coast Guard has more important work to do.

Screenwriter alert!

You'd have to be a puppet to listen to these influenceers.
Saved my life I'm going down for the last time.

Good to know the USA is a world leader in such important matters.

My post disappeared.
I blame global climate change.

I blame climate change, especially in Miami.
I am highly offended that my tax money went to save all those influencers in a $4M boat. I hope the owner of the boat is charged the cost of the rescue. The owner of a $4M boat can certainly afford it. I'll bet the boat was heavily insured.
Speaking of boats, when you drive westbound on MacArthur Causeway, you pass the seaport where the massive cruise ships dock. I call those things bloats.

".. continued courageously taking selfies" made me laugh.
The thing about influencers is that I don't think they are forward thinking in the sense that thirty or forty years from now when they are grandparents and their five year-old grandchild asks them what they did for work, what will they say?
"I pretended to be marvelous at everything I do and tried to influence others to buy the products or lifestyle I was promoting."

It's a $4M-$7M boat, but next year we need to hold our Spring Fling Picnic on a bigger boat.

The Influencer was my favorite of the Dirty Harry series.

Good has come from this incident. Coast Guard recruitment is up.

I'm forecasting that influencers will be overtaken by AI bots & be relegated to lubing the bot's parts.

I'm holding judgement on what needs to be done until the social influencers come to some sort of consensus on the subject, but isn't Clase Azul gold like a single malt tequila?
Posted by: undecided in Scotland | May 07, 2025 at 12:21 PM
We're gonna need a bigger boat.

"Over 30 bikini-clad influencers stranded"...and Coast Guard units from Maine to Texas responded

Well played, Allen!
