Giant Reverberating Atmospheric Shockwaves Across the Globe, written by Simon and Garfunkel, then later released by Led Zeppelin under another name.
The island, named Tofua, consists mainly of a massive ring-like caldera left by an explosive eruption millions of years ago.
And Keith Richards, very much into his Telecaster at the time, is still kicking around today despite having worked with Billy Preston and his keyboard around the time of the explosion.
