What’s the largest couch that can turn a corner? After 58 years, we finally know

(Thanks to Alkali Bill, who says "It takes 119 pages to solve, so I doubt couch-moving guys will read it.")

These are the solutions of the geometry enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to solve new strife and new moving violations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

Wife: Can you just shut up and lift your end of the sofa already?

Now he's ready to tackle the old college matter of how many people you can get into a phone booth.

Then again, where would they find a phone booth to verify the solution?

In a pinch there's always Crisco.

Note to self: When furniture-shopping, bring Jineon Baek with you.

There is no Nobel prize in mathematics. Perhaps he'd get the Economics prize?

Will this be of any help to people who are trying to figure out how to get a newly-purchased mattress into a Honda Civic?

Douglas Adams fans know that one can always just use a time machine to manifest a door in the wall and give yourself a little extra clearance for the sofa to make it around the bend.
