THIS MAKES UP FOR ALL THE DELAYED FLIGHTS

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) achieved another milestone, a flight PK784 from Toronto to Karachi recently took off almost three hours ahead of schedule, leaving all passengers behind.

I'm not sure which is more gobsmacking... that a flight left early, or that Pakistan has an airline.

Behind what?

Oh, oh big ol' jet airliner
While I'm left stranded here you are on your way
Oh, oh big ol' jet airliner
'Cause it's here that I've got to stay

Never board a plane in any country ending in 'stan'. Like Squat Toiletstan. No, just no.

Fly my luggage to Pakistan
while I'm sitting in this bar
might as well wonder what
spring is like on Jupiter or Mars

In other words, I'll just stay,
drink some Molson, might make my day...

Could this be just a daylight savings time problem, a leap year problem, a time zone problem, or what? It is just a simple time and distance physics problem. Or maybe just an algebra story problem that appears on the SAT test - "A plane leaves Toronto bound for Karachi at 10 am eastern standard time. If it flies 3 hours and realizes that ..."

Looking forward to AI flights.

On time is late.

@Bill Hudgins, that's what my community band director always said.

This was definitely a plus for the cabin crew, who didn't have to deal with passengers making idiot beverage cart requests.

Sounds like a "Twilight Zone" episode.

Whenever we take the express bus, we always get there 10 minutes early "just in case," but three hours early?

Maybe they were on Greenwich Mean Time, or Sydney Time?

@Burt Macklin: Close. "The Arrival" was about a plane that landed with no passengers or crew aboard.

Well, you see, the mix-up was all just due to a misunderstanding of daylight savings time.
