We keep an alligator in our swimming pool, to keep the racoons and possums away. The fake alligator makes a lot less mess than the live wildlife.

Highly amusing! @man tom. The little detour to “Old MacDonald” made it extra special.

Hmmm, was this situation described in a chapter in popular book the title of which is 'Swamp Story' and this chapter was cut out of the book just before publication? I will be waiting for the inevitable movie depiction of this - just need to let us know what the title of the movie will be. Hmmm, how about 'Swamp Story'. Or maybe it will become a tv series such as "Return of Dave's World".

I hope to swing by a local pool supply store for a "realistic alligator float toy" to incorporate into some upcoming Florida events and photos.
