Catastrophe?

The 91 Freeway has affectionately been known as 'The 91 Parking Lot' since before the time of Christ. Not so long ago, near the outbreak of the Battle of Antietam, O.J. laid in the back seat of Al Cowlings' white Ford Bronco as it traveled down the 91 past my house causing a traffic nightmare like never seen before since the day before and the day before that and the day before that always being a god-forsaken constant travel nightmare through out history. Lanes were widened to 67 lanes in each direction spanning back to the time of the Siege of Yorktown during the Revolutionary war. This side to side expansion taking entire neighborhoods, and more recently some nationally treasured monuments dating back to past wars, with it did not help relieve the chaos, the likes only seen before in Canada, of several million cars traveling at one MPH simultaneously for hundreds of miles from Vegas to San Diego and all points in between *at all*. Then we had that famous verdict come down with the immortal words, 'if the cat doesn't fit, do not hit'. A three car pile up? And no drive-by shooting? We are gonna need more lanes, fewer BB guns and fewer landmark worthy cat causing collisions.

According to traffic studies, divided highways are most efficient at average speeds under 35 MPH.

Now there's a cat candidate for testing of robot cat litter boxes.

Having driven on this freeway hundreds of times since it first opened, I can attest to seeing number of catatonic drivers.

Man Tom: Sorry for cutting you off in traffic that one time!
