True side story:
Several decades ago, we had some friends who had a Persian cat named Skilletface. Now cats and dogs with flat faces can't really groom themselves, so it's up to their owners to spend time bathing and grooming them .. including their 'sanitary areas'. And so I walked into their kitchen where the wife was trying to wash Skilletface. After the water softened things up a bit, she pulled on the nuggets in his sanitary area. Every time she did, the cat went ballistic and water splashed everywhere. She sighed and said she didn't understand why it wouldn't come off. I said, "Martha, you're pulling on his balls."
I swear that cat heaved a sigh of relief that someone was able to communicate that and end his torture.

@MOTW - Bless your heart! Well, the first thing that occurred to me after reading your comment was the true story of an innocent young bride who didn’t know what the extra hole was for in her husband’s underwear so she…crocheted them closed!
