The article states that this public school lunch program fraud happened during Covid lockdown when the schools were not open for students (remote learning only.) Although the school did continue to prepare, provide bag lunches for some students cooked chicken wings were never on the menu as the wings contain bones. And it took officials how long to figure out that something was very wrong?
