Nick Wehry accused of cheating in Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, per report

The New York Post reported Tuesday, citing two anonymous sources, that video showed Wehry moved an additional plate onto the stack in front of him after the competition had ended, eventually increasing his score by five full hot dogs.

Joey Chestnut would never stoop so low.

There is nothing lower than a hot dog cheat.

For penance, make him compete in a mayonnaise-eating contest (current record is four 32-ounce bowls in eight minutes by Oleg Zhornitskiy, according to majorleagueeating.com).

It's only cheating if you get caught.

There's nothing left to believe in.

It was easy - a simple distraction by an illusionist - one person cries out "Look, it's Joey Chestnut in the Wienermobile." and then points to the back of the crowd. While another makes the plate switch.

In my defense, somebody had to step up to the plate without Joey being there.
