Wasn't this associated with that notion that a room full of a thousand monkeys (on keyboards or typewriters) can reproduce a work of Shakespeare? Why would you want to reproduce a work of Shakespeare - you can just go to a used books store and find a copy - right next to the Dave Barry books,
