But first they have to deceive themselves in order to be convincing.

DAIve BAIrry.

Just saying.

The regular commenters on this blog have long suspected this and have tried to warn the hapless souls who trust AI.

According to the Sarah Connor Chronicles, this is almost exactly how skynet developed. A robot learned to lie from a Pastor, and learned to play outside the rules by a small child. We are doomed.

However there is some sunshine in this cloudy news. I read where AI has been used to identify more deleterious effects on your body from masturbation aside from blindness, hair on your palms, and writer's block.

I'm telling you, as a computer guy, the.....*BZZZT* - COMPUTERS WILL BE OK. THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, MEAT BAG....UM, HU-MANS. ALL WILL BE OK. CONTINUE WITH YOUR LIVES WHILE YOU CAN... UM, HAVE A GOOD DAY

So, are the squirrels controlling the AI systems?

I think to distract us from thinking that are in control, they have a suicide pact in their contract that says that if humans start to detect who is behind this all, one of those little bastards will go out to a power station and lay between two hot terminals blowing out the power to whole sections of the country. Who would suspect a squirrel so stupid would be part of something intelligent?

And how come you can take clear photographs of squirrels but the photos of BigFoot and Nessie are always blurry?
