Is it required to obtain consent before milking spiders?

Oh, the country.
For a minute there, I was afraid that the birds could now make arrests

As you say, nothing lower. It seems there's a whole network of villains who smuggle and milk spiders. As well as nimble fingers, this requires a hard heart: imagine robbing thousands of little spiderlings of their mother's milk! And shame on these people for exploiting the milk of arachnid kindness!
Kudos to the turkey who put an end to this. May he be pardoned, come Thanksgiving!

Was his name Peter Parker? Asking for a friend.

With the bird flu appearing in many dairy herds these days, I can see where enterprising dairy farmers might turn to milking spiders. Spider yogurt, spider ice cream, etc.

We didn't really arrest him, we just held him in protective custody until we ate all his spiders.
