Tells you all you need to know about Oklahoma. Here in Texas, there is no squirrel season. They're fair game any time. Clearly, we recognize the problem more than the Okies do.

Why is squirrel season only 10 months long? Seems like they ought to be in season all year long. Or at least 364 days.

Keep some of those squirrels in the freezer. The Brunswick Stew Festival is coming up in the fall.
