Funny, there is NO archeological evidence for the Exodus.

My brother and I made gefilte fish yesterday with Mom. Not bad at all for our first effort, although I suppose Mom cheats by having the fish ground when she buys it. Mom's come down with some serious health issues and we hope this won't be her last Passover.

I thought they found chariot wheels in the Red Sea?

Yes, as the evidence was washed out to sea.
Give thanks to the Lord because He is good, for His kindness is eternal.

wanderer, we did that too one year, went to Borough Park and bought the ground fish for gefilte fish.
This year we bought fish, though we did make our own matzoh balls for soup.

Thanks, Dave!
Happy Passover, may each of us find the cleverly hidden afkiomen.
@wanderer - More power to you and your brother! I "assisted" my grandmother when she made gefilte fish one Pesach when I was around 6. Having learned how much work it is, I always appreciated it that much more.
@Jeff - Yum! Homemade matzoh balls are the best!

Happy Passover to all friends of the Jewish faith. In your honour, every year we watch The Ten Commandments with Yul Brynner and Charlton Heston. Brilliant. This year we also caught the special features on the making of the film. Well worth watching, including the background on the incredible special effects. Enjoy!

@klezmerphan and @Jeff: I used to always "lift the lid" of the soup pot about 5-10 minutes after Mom added the matzoh balls to give them a little density. It was not appreciated by the rest of the family. But I can proudly say that thanks to me, the family calls mandlen (soup nuts) "floaties."

So let it be written!
So let it be done!

So, wanderer2575, isn't 'lifting the lid' part of the bathroom usage rules, too?
