AND IN SPORTS

A mother has had her $820,000 insurance claim dismissed by a court in Ireland after a picture emerged of her winning a contest to see who could toss a tree the farthest.

Her heart needs to grow a few sizes.

I heard the Elf on a Shelf outed her.

She got made by the ghost of Christmas past?

That must have been a treemundous letdown for her, but she did win the tree toss.

That wasn't me? Um, oops?

Check, please.

"6.5" on the Xmas tree toss at best.

See the tree, how far it's been thrown
But friend it hasn't been too long
It wasn't all just rigged
I laughed at her and she got mad,
The first day that she planned to compete
it was still a scam
Then the first snow came and she ran out
To see if her check had come
it wasn't there
She Came runnin' in all excited
Slipped and almost *Really* hurt herself
And I laughed till I cried

Please do not ax this blog post because the word 'breast' appears in this famous poem:

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

The US National Assoc. of Chiropractors has contacted her about being the keynote celebrity for their 2024 National Conference - they want her to throw out the first back.

That's quite a unique reason for an insurance claim to be dismissed! It's definitely not something you hear about every day. On a different note, have you ever tried Omegle? It's a great way to meet new people and have interesting conversations with strangers from all over the world
