Wasn't Paltry Prosecco gunned down in front of an Italian bistro in downtown Manhattan back in the 70's?

Brings to mind a bit of history - it is purported that modern Italians are the direct descendants of the Romans who drank water out of lead pipes for 400 years. Just sayin'
