Near 60-foot razorback whale washes up on Copalis Beach Airport runway

On the plus side, his mating attempts with the 747 on the taxiway proved unsuccessful.

Why do whales wash up on the beach ? Why don't they just clean themselves in the ocean ?

Wait a minute...there's no airport there. The "runway" is just a stretch of beach. So take off and land a little further down the beach.

And what's the whale going to do anyway? Jump up and eat a plane, like the shark ate the helicopter in "Jaws 2"? It's dead. It won't hurt you. Unless you use dynamite.
