Why do whales wash up on the beach ? Why don't they just clean themselves in the ocean ?

Wait a minute...there's no airport there. The "runway" is just a stretch of beach. So take off and land a little further down the beach.
And what's the whale going to do anyway? Jump up and eat a plane, like the shark ate the helicopter in "Jaws 2"? It's dead. It won't hurt you. Unless you use dynamite.
