So sixty plus is the new fifty?

While the lyrics alone are cause for spirited celebration and regulatory paranoia, it's the Kingsmen's cheesy opening chords that set Louie Louie's unparalleled depths of musical depravity in motion.

I suppose it's just a coincidence that Anthony Blinken will be in town for "meetings."

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Can we assume the Remainders will be part of this?

I grew up in a very poor family. We could not afford things that others got, like, my sister was on a pep club team in school and all the girls had pom-poms but we could only afford a pom. When other families had couscous for dinner we only got cous. So when Louis Louie came out we could only enjoy Louie. My father explained that he got a stereo system from a friend but only one side worked on it - but we learned he was just making excuses for being poor. Was hoping by now somebody had figured the song out - at least the half my stereo would not play.

Mam me rih amu maloo a gong
Looie looi etc etc
Me gotta go.

OMG, I'm going to be up there then.

I said, we gotta go.

But will there be whales?

In 1968 I saw the Mothers of Invention in Central Park. They invited a US Marine to come on stage and sing Louie Louie, which he did. All while a a giant dinosaur balloon was slowly inflating on stage. The 60s were awesome.
