OTHER THAN THAT, A FLAWLESS CEREMONY

Man officiating a wedding in Nebraska accidentally shot his 12-year-old grandson during the ceremony, police say

Brilliant: Michael Gardner, 62, was officiating the festivities at Hillcrest Events in Denton around 5 p.m. on Saturday when he attempted to shoot a Pietta Model 1860 Snub Nose revolver loaded with a blank into the air to gain the attention of the wedding guests, according to Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Ben Houchin.

The comments are working today, though oddly, there were no comments from the child’s grandmother or other relatives.

He should have just done like Quint in "Jaws", and done the fingernail scrape.

This isn't funny.

Can't wait to see what he does at the coming gender reveal party.

What was the height of the grandson?

Kinda reminds me of Dick Cheney on his hunting trip.

We have lost our minds.

I thought they were bringing back the shotgun wedding when I read the headline.

Wait, did they do an breath test on the child? Alcohol is always involved in these wedding shootings, so the statistics show. And the conclusion that he did not intended to hurt the child, well, who has a wedding just to shoot a child with a blank covered with glue? In Nebraska of course.

“We do not believe Michael intended to hurt his grandchild, but the act was not very smart,” Houchin said, adding that deputies don’t believe alcohol was involved in the incident.
