MIAMI WILDLIFE UPDATE

This guy approached us on our walk this morning, looking for food. Or possibly money. He did not specify.

OK, seeing this is one of the very few things that I would like about living in Florida...

With FL drivers license in hand, making it's way to the passing lane.

might have been money ... gopher broke

Cool. In the inland sand hills of the Florida panhandle gopher tortoises are common. What's uncommon is they migrate to Miami to walk with Dave.

Pretty sure he was trying to deliver a suggestion for a new Dave Barry column or book.

I remember tales of tourists finding them close to shore, misidentifying them as sea turtles, and trying to do a good deed by throwing them into the sea from their boats where upon the tortises swiftly drown.

@Jane - thanks for identifying that tortoise.
What a handsome fellow.

I say it is just judi who likes to dress up on weekends. "Hi, guys, just thought I'd stop by and say Hi. And to tell you that being the Corporate Director of Future Flavors is just great."
