For some reason use of the word 'furled' and 'unfurled' does work well when referring to a t-shirt. For example, my wife would never say "Whew, I have a whole laundry basket of your t-shirts to furl." Would that be "furl a t-shirt" or "furl-up a t-shirt?" Or is "furl" and "up" be redundant?
