The State Police were following skid marks left at the crime scene. I think Shakespeare said something like "You can steal a man's name but stealing his toilet paper ..." Or was that "I wept when I saw a man with no shoes until I saw a man with no toilet paper."

The police can invoke the seldom used "Mr. Whipple" law at a trial.
