No way we're the worst. I know better. I've lived in New England. In Texas, if you miss your turn, you don't back up on the freeway like they do in Rhode Island. Here, we just get off the road entirely.

No, this is only for ticketed drivers. Florida stopped traffic enforcement years ago, Cops here only ticket the easy stuff, but are still afraid they will be shot at a traffic stop.

Here in the Houston area, my wife saw a huge old barge of a car come whipping out of the retirement home, cutting diagonally across the main drag median with the passenger door flying open. My wife called the police who immediately ran the lady down. We're No. 1!

The only reason the Best Coast isn't top 10 is because we're moving too slow in traffic to cause much damage. In the last 20 years, my 20 minute drive to work has risen to an average of 65 minutes now, using the same road. Something needs to change!
