I’m sure that blowing up a whale speaks volumes to the aliens, and especially when we’re interrupting the conversation.

I don't know about whales, but noted Ojibwe artist Norval Morrisseau knew the aliens talked to bears (First Meeting, 1992).

I read Roger Payne's pioneering study of humpback songs when I was in college in the '70s. It's quite a remarkable study. He was able to do a lot of lunguistic work for somebody who didn't have a real linguist as part of the study.

Sounds like there will be a problem, Houston. Now that the "Prince of Whales" has been morphed into the King of Whales, no, wait, Chuck lost that title with his coronation.
Maybe the Concert Queen will be the Princess of Whales, or maybe better, Concert Queen of Whales.
