For those open casket viewings at the funeral home, the undertaker will provide cans of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup tastefully arranged around the deceased.

Let's see: The body can be considered meat, and the mushrooms will decompose into a nice duxelle. Just wrap the whole thing in a puff pastry before it goes into the ground.

So they can beat on the ground at the funeral to summon the worms, who can eat into the coffin and get to you so much quicker.

Does this make the inventor a ... fun guy?

Thank you.

A Nobel Prize in the offing.

Finally a constructive use for all those poisonous 'shrooms.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the first person buried with this type of coffin had died of eating poisonous "destroying angels".

An alternative feature is to make the coffin slightly larger so you can be buried with a loved one - it is called mush room.
