Now if the Connecticut legislature would address the lands seized and sold to pay for the American Revolution...

370 years is quite a spell

There was in fact quite a lot at stake at the time.

Witch is OK.

On Thursday, Connecticut's Senate voted 33-1 to exonerate those convicted in trials that took place in the state in the mid-to-late 1600s. The next day, Friday, in a 33-0 vote, the one guy didn't show up, the senate failed to exonerate or clear the name if you must, of one doer accused of voicing outright voodooism regarding the period of mid to late 1969.

Did they offer immunity to those who convicted them?

Contemporary witches will of course demand reparations.

Are they still dead?

Overhead in the Connecticut legislature: So why do witches burn? 'Cause they're made of wood? How do we tell if she is made of wood? Build a bridge out of her. But can you not also make bridges out of stone? Oh, yeah...So, logically...if she weighs the same as a duck...she's made of wood...and therefore? A witch!

My step-mom was there, both times.

Did new evidence come to light or did they just cave to the witch lobby?

- Witches burn because they are made out of wood.
- Bridges are made of wood.
- A duck floats in water.
- If the woman weighs the same as a duck, then she is made of wood.
- The woman weighs the same as a duck.
- Therefore, the woman is a witch!

BURN WITCHES!!!

Well, I just walked all over the comments Dorkfish made first.
I have to actually read the blog, don't I.

Quite a back up in the old legal process isn't it? I have been waiting 371 years just to appeal a parking ticket.

Ne’er a problem, Burt Macklin…No such thing as too many Monty Python references…
