Such amateurs!

- Marie Antoinette

Real men don't eat quiche.

Whew, I am glad that they considered their audience"

"Though the recipe, as posted on the royal family’s social media platforms, does contain lard, vegetarians should note it can be “easily adapted to different tastes and preferences”.

Think of all those British subjects who would not touch their lunch if they knew lard was used in it.

Maybe that should be the Royal Proclamation, so say Charles:

"My kingdom will be adapted to different tastes and preferences. Therefore, I declare that all haggis and steak and kidney pies shall be offered in all veg forms."

I would have guessed gravy-train.

If they wanted to get the lard out, then dump that Queen Consort.

For a second there, I thought it said they chose colonoscopies.

Wait a minute...isn't quiche French? I thought the English were the mortal enemies of the French. This doesn't seem very patriotic of Charlie. Shouldn't he be eating eel pie instead?

They probably will eat squirrel quiche.

@Rod Haggis would be more appropriate.
