The shipment was bound for Germany anyhow when it was intercepted. Therefore a moot point altogether.

Well you can understand the French are concerned consumers will be confused and think these cans contain beer made in the Champagne region by the French - Miller needs to change the name to the sparkling variety of wine of beer. That would be much clearer.

Surprised they got this to fly in the northern region of Belgium, where the French are typically... less than popular.
They need to be careful, though, or InBev will cut their supply of Jupiler. :P
I spent a few years as a kid growing up in southern Belgium (Air Force brat). Very fond of the place still.
