So if these come from 400 light-years away, that’s at least 400 more years before a returned ”Polo” might reach the Marco source if a response went out today. Let me know how that turns out.

Plus,it will only take 10 times the amount of energy used by the entire planet to generate a strong enough signal. And, by the time our polo reaches them, they probably climbed out of the pool and went home.

Just the old ploy which translates into just give us more money to stare into space - quote the article "...the discovery of patterns is promising, and there are even further reaching implications yet to be determined.
Further implications yet to be determined? Huh? This has to be the first article that does not attribute this 'FRB pattern' to artificial intelligence.
