STRUMPDATE
I'm at the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival with the legendary (and very funny) Isabel Allende. I love this lady, because in addition to being a lovely person and a fantastic writer, she makes me feel tall.

Wow, a photo of Isabel Allende and Barry Manilow. Guess the flight to the Left Coast resulted in some jet lag.

This appeared the Sonoma Times the next day - "homeless couple were asked to leave the park or be detained in the local jail. Male suspect declared he was a Pulitzer Prize winner and he presented his PPW identification card. The policeman was noted to remark, "Yeah, right, everybody is pulling this same trick with that phony ID card. We believe that like we believe this phony driver's license from Florida. Move on or plan on spending the night in the clink."
