ASTEROID-MEASUREMENT-UNIT UPDATE

Speeding asteroid as big as 123 Elle Brookes set to crash into Earth's orbit next week

(Thanks to EricY)

We didn’t know who she was either.

I give The Daily Star an A+ for including photos, especially the last one, so we can fully understand what this new "Elle Brookes" unit of measure really is.

Once upon a time, it was highly desirable to have an outdoor restroom facility constructed with bricks.

I thought we were still operating on the giraffes scale.

Technically it's 123 and a half. 247 of them, not 246 as previously noted.

I have an excellent "heavenly body" comment, but I won't say it.

I have developed a retractable measuring device calibrated on the new unit of measure. So you can measure down to the fractional Elle Brookes (e.g., 1/16 Elle Brookes) for those projects around the house and garage. Unfortunately, Home Depot has not adopted this unit of measure, so be prepared to bring your measuring device along with you when you shop.

Elle Brooke measures around 1.54 metres tall, which means that you 123 of her standing on top of each other measures the same as asteroid 2023 GM

.. "you 123 of her" ..? I don't need that or anything else to say this is d-u-m-b.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the asteroid hit her?

Thank you, Mike in D. I think the sooner we adopt this new standard of measure the better.

How many Salma Hayeks?

Well, if you're planning on smashing something, that's not a bad choice. (IMHO)
