WE HAVE LOST OUR MINDS, AS A SPECIES

Since February, the city has begun to unveil the concrete squirrel sculptures as part of the Seguin Squirrel Trail Program. Each sponsored squirrel is painted by a local artist and then permanently mounted somewhere throughout the community.

Now we know how Moses felt when he first spied the golden calf.

Nah. They have squirrel sculptures, we have rooster sculptures. YAY FLORIDA.

We need a Medusa for squirrels to make them all like these things.

Soon we expect the local pigeons will celebrate these new 'comfort stations' in their patch. The pigeons have invited other birds to share their squirrel perches. All were elated at their opportunity to celebrate, in their own way, the bastards that keep invading their nests.

Bow... Bow before your masters.

It's all big fun until one shows up in the Utah desert.

The motto up the road from Seguin is “Keep Austin Weird”. In Seguin they’ve surpassed that all the way to Crazytown.

We have Penguin statues around town in Tulsa which have been very popular for several years. I like the squirrels - the world needs a little whimsy.
