They might have more success promoting this if they'd eat worms (or insects) on live TV. If nothing else, they'd at least get ratings.

This is old stuff - there was a famous 'Diet of Worms' many years ago. It preceded the famous Scarsdale Diet which unfortunately involved a homicide. Can see where diet coaches say such things as "Eat your worms, maggot."

When the words "politician" and "diet" appear in the same sentence my brain immediately goes to "the Santa Clarita diet".
