THE TRICKY PART IS HITTING THE RIGHT BUTTON WITH THE HARPOON

Japan launches whale meat vending machines to promote sales

(Thanks to Nelson from Michigan, who says "I'll have the Doritos, thanks.")

How many more vending machines do they think that will sell?

" sales in the new vending machines have quietly gotten off to a good start "

For those too impatient to wait until they wash up on a beach.

Wait until Ahab finds out about this.

Is there a correlation here with dynamite sales in Oregon?

If only they’d had one of these machines on the Pequod, literature would have been a lot less psychotic.

So they sell the blubber in the gum-ball machines?

Keep an eye out for a peg-leg guy who looks like Gregory Peck who is re-stocking the vending machines. A great land-based job that keeps the elderly off the street, er, on the street but off the dole.

Multiple slots means it can be available in medium, rare, and still swimming.

I’ll stick with the good old Spam vending machine outside my local slaughterhouse.

Word has it the prototypes kept blowing up.

LOL @Dave (which always goes without saying, of course)

I’ve had whale a few times. In Japan and Alaska. I thought it was delicious. The thought of a couple whale steaks makes my mouth water.
