As Mrs. wanderer says: There is only 5:00 a day, and that ain't it.

I concur, "quiet mornings" are the best, especially this time of year before DLST comes along and f__ks that all up.

Oh, HELL no. I do well enough to be ready to work at 8:00. That's with the alarm going off at 6:00, working from home, not eating breakfast, and maybe not even cleaning up.

I wake up sort of slow....

"Henry, where are you...it's 9 o'clock...you were supposed to be here two hours ago to help demo the mud room?"

"I've been here since 5AM with stupid slowing down my nervous system just easing off the gas to help regulate my thoughts."

I did this for years! Unfortunately I was working the midnight to 7am shift at the time but still!

Get some chickens however you may need to adjust their schedule during Daylight Savings Time. Then you will need some cows to be a spokes-cow for the chickens. Heck just get some cows - nursecindy knows some neighborhood bovines who are very interested in what time it is. Just set the cows to wake you up at 5 am.

Wake me when this thread is over.

I would love to be able to wake up at the same time every day, whatever it is. With my non-24 hour sleep disorder, it just isn't possible.

In a 24/7 society, why do we still have a prejudice toward morning people?

Great News!!!
Now I can sleep in.

Morning people like to think that being a morning person is virtuous in itself.

I get up at 5am, and I hate it. But it allows me to get some work done without interruption in the mornings.
