How could anyone possibly decipher a Scottish accent influenced with Australian vernacular? I have a strong feeling that the article writer threw up his hands and just winged it after hearing the interview.

Not a native of either place, but lived in Australia for a few years, so I'll give it a shot:
"Wrestler came in and was trash-talking, so I wrote "Cumdog" on the front of a wrestler's spandex outfit, put it on, challenged the wrestler, and kicked his ass"
