Comparable to the leaf-blower flute.
Also, The Texas Leaf-blower massacre was intense.

All part of a plot to finally get the clarinets on the front row of the marching band. As a side benefit, it will put the fear of God into the drum major.

Soon they'll be adding bayonets to the slide trombones & white flags to the French horns.

When one of my caveboys was trying out instruments, we went to a junior high school cafeteria. All the band teachers from the feeder schools were there set up at tables so the kids could try the instruments out to see what they had an affinity for.
The clarinet table: it was funny to watch the parents who were there. As their kid put their mouth to a fresh reed and began to blow, the parents would instinctively move their mouths and lips .. kind of like we do when we feed babies, we open our mouths to show them what to do. You could definitely tell which parents had played clarinet in their youth. I was secretly hoping my son wouldn't play clarinet because of reed squawks. (NTTAWW clarinet music)
