The Bridge Bakehouse was asked to make a public apology and donate to a village church after a customer took offence when the bakery named a sandwich ‘Cheesus Christ’

Can't they just rename it Cheezuz Krust?

Then perhaps you would like one of our other sandwiches, this one featuring head cheese, simply named The John the Baptist.

If you order the John the Baptist on a grinder roll it's called a truncated.

In attempt to prove that they aren't bigoted they renamed the large ham & cheese on rye the Mo Hammed.

I don't know what the rub is. They served this sandwich at the Last Supper with chalices of good wine.

They sound like the kind of people who'd be offended if they were served wine in a water glass.

Kinda reminds me of the story of two Palestinians who started a dairy farm in the West Bank.

They called it cheeses of Nazareth.
